Lara Rundle (Clinical physiotherapist and pilates instructor)
Lara is a new addition to the physiotherapy team at Therapia, joining in March 2016.
Since graduating in 2006 from the University of Notre Dame (WA) with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with honours, Lara has worked in both the public and the private sectors.
For the past 8 years she has focused on private practice with a strong emphasis on Clinical Pilates and active rehabilitation.
Lara has a keen interest in treating low back pain and has co-authored an article in 2009 related to low back pain and self-reported disability. As well as this she has a special interest in treating headache/neck pain, knee and ankle pain, and rehabilitation post-pregnancy. She is a firm believer in active rehabilitation and holistic treatments in order to achieve the best outcomes for her patients.
In regards to treatments, Lara uses a combination of manual therapy (including massage, joint mobilisations and manipulation), Combined Movements theory, and dry needling.
Aside from work, Lara enjoys spending time with her husband and two young daughters, and exploring the sights of South Australia. She enjoys learning and is always in search of something new to learn whether it’s related to physiotherapy, languages, or even cooking!
