Principal Physiotherapist & Director
Mukul Singla specialises in Musculoskeletal, Orthopaedics and Sports Physiotherapy. He has over 16 years of experience and has a passion for evidence based management with emphasis on active recovery. He completed his Masters in Orthopaedic, Sports and Manual therapy from University of South Australia (UniSA) in 2003. He undertook an Honours research project with UniSA (2010). The results of his research have helped to inform the policy making of Return to WorkSA.
His clients include office workers to elite Olympic athletes and Cirque Du Soleil performers, dancers and artists. He has worked with UniSA as a Clinical supervisor/mentor for physiotherapy graduates, and as an ‘Extended scope ED physiotherapist’ at Flinders Medical Centre.
He also has a keen interest in Spinal conditions such as:
• Spinal instability & Non-specific low back pain
• Post-surgical Rehab & Pre-surgical Prehab
• Pregnancy related back pain & pelvic dysfunction
• Cervicogenic headaches
He uses a combination of manual therapy along with Mckenzie approach, muscle energy technique, western acupuncture and dry needling. He believes in ‘movement based rehabilitation’ grounded in Pilates and Yoga principles and often says ‘the better a person understands their body and their condition, the better they can manage it’.

Lara is an experienced Physiotherapist and Clinical Pilates instructor at Therapia Physiotherapy and Pilates. Lara graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours in 2006, at the University of Notre Dame, Fremantle WA. She completed her honours thesis on Lower Back Pain, and has since co-authored an article in 2009 on Lower Back Pain and self-reported disability.
Since university, Lara has focused her working interest in musculoskeletal/sports Physiotherapy, and Clinical Pilates. She has a special interest in treating neck pain, headaches, mid-back and lower back issues, post-pregnancy rehabilitation and women’s health issues. She is a firm believer in active rehabilitation and evidence-based, holistic treatments in order to achieve the best outcomes for her patients.
